Deniz Saylan began his career as a photojournalist in some of the world’s most renowned news hotspots. These experiences influenced him greatly and have led him to develop his own unique style. He continues to work all over the world, but now as an international portrait and advertising photographer. As well as a unique way of using lighting, his photography is characterised by an eye for the essential details. His impressive portrait photography is said to give an insight into people’s souls.

Deniz shoots using an 8×10″ Deardorff plate camera as well as digitally. Celebrities such as UN General Kofi Annan, Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche, former F1 Pilot Michael Schumacher and Music legend Bob Geldof among others hold Deniz in high esteem, and he is also highly valued by commercial clients including Daimler, Audi, Commerzbank, The Salzburg Festival, Infiniti, Wirtschaftswoche, Porsche and CFO Magazine.

Deniz maintains his own studios in London and Stuttgart. Deniz‘ works conceptional for books, movies and campaigns and works also as Director for Films.
