Axel Schmidt was born in Braunschweig in the seventies. His career began in science, a foundation that is still evident in his interests and photography. He has been a lifelong lover of adventures in nature, science and technology. Axel’s 22-year career began with more than 10 years in photojournalism, taking him to more than 70 countries. He later moved into global campaigns and editorial for major technology companies such as Siemens, BASF, Knorr-Bremse, TenneT and others.
Axel is based in Berlin.
