Josefine Cosa is visual artist focused on and addicted to fashion photography and painting, the magic of a portrait and all its energy. The ambition of her work is a mixture of an unbridled urge for freedom and autistic precision. She is based in Berlin Charlottenburg, where she has her own studio. Her approach is to learn and to create.

Her reduced style elaborates the essence of the person or objects she’s working with. She uses painting as analogue and her camera as digital technique that allows her to live out the freedom and anarchy that make painting intuitive and photography timeless. Her main focus is on figurative painting and drawing inspired by all kinds of art but especially photography, where her artistic roots are.
