She is an actress. And a singer. And a trumpeter.
When she does it all together, Berlin-born Antje Rietz is in her element: as an entertainer on stage. Someone who can do what she does: she graduated with honours from the University of the Arts. She can be seen on theatre and concert stages in the capital and throughout Germany. With her current programme „Rendezvous with the Pink Panther – Henry Mancini’s World Successes“, she takes the audience into a world of swing and jazz in a coquettish and profound manner.
We photographed with her digitally in my Berlin studio and analogue with the Linhof Master Technika on 4×5″ film in the middle of Mitte at night, where the Spree meets Friedrichstrasse.
